how to edit video8

i just recently decided to try my hand at making short movies with my video8 camcorder. i really have no idea what im about to embark on, but i was wondering...how do you edit video8 or 8mm or whatever? hopefully the method is pretty inexpensive ...

hopefully your camera should have came with a lead to connect it to a TV or VCR. if not, then it will be best to buy one.

if you cant get one, err... do you know how to solder? [img]biggrin.gif[/img]

basically play back each scene from your cam corder recording to your VCR in the order you want them in, stoping/pausing after each scene.

you probably wont be able to add special effecs this way, but it gets the job done.
